About Amanda Hearne
Amanda Hearne (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 121784) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC 10910). She has completed EMDR basic training and is working toward EMDR Certification. Amanda holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.
For the past eight years Amanda has worked closely with individuals affected by intimate partner violence and she has witnessed her clients heal and positively transform their lives through EMDR therapy. Since completing her EMDR training six year ago, Amanda has used EMDR therapy as her primary treatment modality to help clients access and reconnect to their past in a manner that allows each person to feel as safe and secure as possible, prior to diving into the work. Amanda places tremendous value on the therapeutic relationship and feels the road to deep healing is quietly guided by one’s vulnerability and willingness to step outside of their comfort zone - where the inner work begins.
With great empathy and care for her clients, Amanda is inspired to work alongside each individual with the hope of a deeper integration of body, mind and soul.
