Grief Processing
Grief can be a threshold — one we cross together.
Grief can feel like the world has shifted beneath your feet. You may long for connection, understanding, or simply a moment of peace. Induced After-Death Communication (IADC) Therapy offers a respectful, evidence-informed process that can ease the weight of grief and, for some, open the possibility of connecting with a departed loved one in ways that feel profoundly healing. IADC is not about replacing your grief or rushing your healing — it's about creating space for deep emotional resolution, compassion, and peace, while honoring your continued bond.
What Is IADC Therapy? (Grief Processing)
Developed by psychologist Dr. Allan Botkin, IADC is an advanced application of EMDR focused specifically on grief and loss. While it uses some of the same methods as EMDR, the intent is more targeted and distinct: rather than processing trauma to reduce distressing symptoms, IADC is designed to process the emotional pain of loss and, in many cases, facilitate a deeply meaningful inner experience related to the deceased loved one.
For some, this results in a powerful sense of connection — feeling a loved one's presence, hearing a message, or sensing reassurance. Not everyone will have this experience, but many describe the process as life-changing.
